Thank you for your in kind donation of 273 lbs. of food on 08/23/2021 to the JFS Orlando Pearlman Emergency Food Pantry. Your support helps JFS meet the ever-growing needs of our community.
JFS takes a holistic approach to assisting families who come to us for help; not only giving them a "hand out" but a "hand up". So far in 2021, our Pearlman Emergency Food Pantry has provided food for more than 81,000 meals; our Family Stabilization Program has helped 95 families fight homelessness and become more self-sufficient for the long-term; our RIDE (Reliable Independent Drivers for the Elderly) Program has provided close to 400 rides for seniors and disabled adults; our Counseling services have provided over 2,000 therapy sessions; and our Community Rabbi has served approximately 600 individuals through a variety of services, including hospital visits and memorials.
From all of us at JFS Orlando and especially those we serve, thank you for your commitment to our mission of providing services to stabilize individuals and families in crisis, and enhancing the quality of life across generations to all members of the Central Florida community.
